Agreeing to these terms

By adding Sleepy Manager to a server, using its commands or logging in to its dashboard, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the bot.

Discord's rules come first

You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using the bot.

For server owners and admins

• You decide how the bot is set up in your server, and you're responsible for how its moderation features are used there.
• The bot records activity such as deleted messages, moderation cases and security events. Let your members know, for example in your rules channel, and link them to the privacy policy.
• Only give the staff and admin roles to people you trust. Security settings can only be changed by the server owner, so keep the owner account safe (Discord's two-step login helps).
• Files you download (case and security PDFs or spreadsheets) contain your members' details. Keep them safe and only share them with people who need them.

Automatic protection

To stop attacks quickly, Sleepy Manager can act on its own, without a moderator pressing anything: for example deleting scam links, timing out a possibly hacked account, quarantining someone who deletes many channels, holding back new members during a raid, or removing someone who posts in a trap channel. Each action is recorded and staff can undo it (for example with Release, They're fine or Undo). These checks are automatic and can sometimes get it wrong. Server owners choose how strict they are and who is trusted. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for automatic actions or for anything they miss.

Things not to do

• Use the bot to harass, spam, raid or harm anyone.
• Try to get around its permission checks, overload it, or break it on purpose.
• Use it for anything illegal.

Free and Premium

Every protection feature (anti-nuke, raid defence, verification, Automod and scam-link blocking) is free on every server. Premium plans (Doze, Nap and Hibernate) cover 1, 3 or 10 servers and keep records longer and add extras; what each plan includes is listed on the dashboard's Premium page. Plans can currently only be given as gifts; nothing can be bought yet. When paid plans open, the price, renewal, cancelling and refund terms will be shown before you pay, and payments will be handled by Stripe. Paying will always be optional.

No guarantees

The bot is provided as it is. It might go offline, lose data or change how it works, and features can be added or removed at any time. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for any loss that comes from using it, including moderation actions taken through it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded.

Removing access

We can stop anyone from using the bot, or remove it from a server, if these terms are broken or to keep it running safely for everyone.
